Tuesday April 24

Today were are in Jamaica and went to Sabina Park to watch the semi-finals of the Cricket World Cup between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. It was an interesting game to watch especially when New Zealand were 9 out and got a tonne of runs making more than 50 combined. They still lost by 81 runs.

Muralitharan had his best ever bowling performance. Also, by coincidence, Muralitharan is staying at the same hotel as us ... As well as the rest of the Sri Lankan cricket team. As a matter of fact, I was able to get a photo with Murali.

Tomorrow we are going to take a trip to St. Lucia to watch the second-semi-final between Australia and South Africa.

The winner will meet Sri Lanka in the Cricket World Cup final.

We land at 6.30 a.m., clear customs, have breakfast and catch a bus for a 90 min drive to the ground – to arrive in time for the 9.30 a.m.scheduled start!

Then we will catch a bus at end of the game, have a 90 min drive straight back to the airport, and make an (international) flight to Barbados, where we spend the next 7 nights! So that's about 41 hours without any sleep - it is now a battle of the sleepless. Who will survive. And who will give in to slumber! (Or unconsciousness).
